In 1998, Sabine and Mario Martini opened their first specialist retail shop for watches and jewellery in Schwabach, and thus began the fascinating story of the Martinis. Driven by their passion for jewellery, their business quickly developed into a success. Within just ten years, they had opened seven more shops in the Nuremberg area and established themselves as a permanent fixture in the jewellery industry, indispensable in the central Franconian region.

In 2010, the Martinis turned their vision into reality and founded their own brand, Engelsrufer. Engelsrufer, Herzengel and the Engelsrufer Kids Collection stand for pieces of jewellery with deep meaning that evoke emotions. The positive response from enthusiastic customers and the high demand from other specialist retailers was not long in coming. Today, the Engelsrufer brand is present in over 40 countries and is available from more than 3,000 sales partners. Since 2014, there has also been a children's collection called Herzengel and men's collections from Save Brave.

As a contract manufacturer, Schmuckzeit Europe is characterised by its own integrated development office, which is managed by a team of experienced jewellery experts. From design drawings and modelling to material selection and production management, Schmuckzeit Europe guides its customers through the entire creative process. The jewellery pieces are produced in companies in Thailand while preserving the craftsmanship know-how.
